The Morais Trichy Marathon 2024 is back for its third edition!

Hosted by Morais City and powered by Trichy Runners, the Morais Trichy Marathon will feature two main categories:
- மார்கழி 5km Run – Run For Fun
- Pro 10km Run – Run to Win

Morais Trichy Marathon 3rd Edition:
The Morais Trichy Marathon 2024 is set to take place on December 8, 2024, starting at 5 am at Morais City, Trichy. The event will offer two main categories: the மார்கழி 5km Run and the competitive 10km Pro Run. Both events will have age-based categories to ensure a fair competition for all participants, regardless of their experience level.
மார்கழி 5km Run:
The மார்கழி 5km Run (Fun Run) is designed to encourage people of all ages and fitness levels to come together for a healthy and enjoyable experience. Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned runner, this running event offers the perfect opportunity to get active, have fun, and be part of a vibrant community. There’s no pressure to race – it’s all about enjoying the journey and celebrating the spirit of fitness.
Every participant in the 5km run will receive a Bib, a T-shirt, a medal, and refreshments to recharge after the event. The goal is to promote health, well-being, and the joy of moving together as a community.
Pro 10km Run:
For more serious runners, the Pro 10km Run is where the competition intensifies. This competitive race will be divided into two categories as well:
– Male (Below 35 years & Above 35 years)
– Female (Below 35 years & Above 35 years)
The first three winners in each category will receive medals and cash prizes. Prizes worth ₹2 Lakhs will be awarded to Trichy residents in the Pro 10km Run category, with the prizes distributed among the top three winners in each age and gender group. This marathon race is an excellent opportunity for runners to showcase their skills and earn recognition for their hard work and dedication.
Registration Fees:
– மார்கழி 5km Run: ₹299
– Pro 10km Run: ₹399
Participants will be provided with a Bib, a T-shirt, and access to refreshments. Please ensure to arrive at the venue by 6 am for the மார்கழி 5km Run and 5 am for the Pro 10km run to ensure a smooth start.
Terms & Conditions:
- Eligibility: Only registered participants can join the marathon event.
- Trichy Residency: Podium prizes are exclusively for Trichy residents in the 10km Pro Run category.
- 3. Aadhar Card: A valid Aadhar card is required for bib collection and verification on event day.
- Non-refundable Fees: Registration fees are non-refundable.
- Training Sessions: Trichy Runners organizes training sessions every Saturday from 6 am to 7 am to help you prepare for the marathon race.
